Clyde "Butch" Moore Jr.

Clyde "Butch" Moore Jr,. age 77, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 9, 2025. Butch lived his life with a generous spirit, a quick smile, the love of riding his Harley and his family. He passed peacefully leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength that would be carried with those who knew him. Butch was the proud father of Will, Doug, Jahneka, Melissa, Mandy, and Sandra. each of whom carries a piece of his humor, wisdom, and warmth. His love extended even further as a cherished grandfather of 13 with one on the way to make 14 and great-grandfather of five, roles that he cherished deeply. To his many nieces and nephews, he was the fun and dependable uncle who always showed up with a story, a laugh, or a helping hand. He dedicated over 34 years of hard work and loyalty to Ford Motor Company, where he not only built cars but built lifelong friendships. Butch believed in the simple things: good food, good company, and a good laugh. Weather it was a backyard gathering, a road trip, or a quiet moment at home, Butch knew how to make people feel welcome and loved Rather than dwell in sadness, we choose to celebrate the gift of Butch's life. His memory will live on in every shared family celebration, and every story retold.. Butch is survived by his children, Douglas (Wanda Moore), Jahneka Moore, Melissa Moore, Mandy Austin, and Sandra Ramirez. His sister Linda McClain, his grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany) Moore, Madison Moore, Kenadee (Justin) Berkey, Elijah Moore, Darius Dubose, Chloe Moore, Michael Dillard, Azar Elmore, Cyntirah Dillard, Janiya Smith, Mara Smith, Nazavion Villalobos, Zendayah Dillard and Baby Keene who is due in January. 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his mother Beatrice Moore, father Clyde H. Moore, son Clyde William Moore, sisters Juanita Sharp and Mary Jones, brothers Roger Moore and Jackie Moore. For a celebration of his life, he would want us all to have fun and wear your Lions gear, any Harley gear or just come as you are. Be ready to share stories and honor Butch in a joyful spirit he would have wanted. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with a dinner to follow at Island Park in Adrian, MI.
