Clyde Tarbutton

Clyde A. Tarbutton, age 95 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on June 13, 2024 at home. Born in Wilmington, DE, Clyde resided in Glen Mills for the past 55 years. Clyde served his country in the US Army. After the Army, he worked for 14 years with IBM as a computer systems and marketing representative before becoming a Yamaha motorcycle dealer for 11 years. Clyde received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He was an avid Bridge Player (ACBL) and attained the "Silver Life Master". He enjoyed reading, playing Jazz on his piano, and visiting South Padre Island, TX. In his earlier years, he traveled the world, at one time residing for 5 years with his family in Southeast Asia. In addition to his parents, Clyde Cooper and Helen Dunlap Tarbutton, Clyde is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Jeanette Pinch and Ann Lonsdale. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Louise Tarbutton, a daughter, Kathryn Brown, a grandson, Taylor Brown, and a great-granddaughter, Nora Grace.
