Diana Jean Tarbutton, 82, went home to be with Jesus on August 17th due to complications of Alzheimer's.
Diana was the middle daughter of three, born and raised in Long Beach, California. Diana went to Long Beach Poly High School, where she met Ken, and graduated in 1960. Diana Jean Kauer and Kenneth Charles Tarbutton married in February of 1960. After high school Ken and Diana raised two children, Scott and Stacy, in the Long Beach area. After a couple of years, they moved to Lakewood, where Diana was a compassionate stay at home mom. After 11 years, Diana went to cosmetology school where she became a hairstylist and salon owner. From Lakewood they moved to Huntington Beach, where they raised their family, spent time traveling and spent numerous vacations at their second home in Lake Havasu City. From Huntington Beach they moved to San Juan Capistrano where they spent the rest of their retired years. Ken and Diana had many close friends, loved to travel the world, and go camping with the family. Diana loved birthdays and holidays and all the preparations that went into them. She also loved babysitting her grandson Ryan, being with her friends, and spending quiet times reading.
Diana was preceded by her husband Ken of 58 years, her mom Ruby, her dad Jack and her two sisters Janice and Susie. She is survived by her kids Scott and wife Laura, daughter Stacy and partner Ruth, and her grandson Ryan.
