Coby Richard Wright

December 15, 1990 – June 26, 2025

On June 26, 2025, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, Coby Richard Wright peacefully passed away, surrounded by all his loved ones.

Coby was born on December 15, 1990, in Orem, Utah. From a very young age, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping with his dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa.

He graduated from Salem Hills High School in 2009, where he loved playing football and the saxophone. After graduation, Coby began working at Rocky Mountain ATV, where he met the love of his life, Lisa. Lisa stood by his side unwaveringly through the final years of his life and his battle with cancer.

Coby loved the outdoors. He spent time with friends and family riding mules, hunting, fishing, and taking side-by-sides out to the sand dunes. He always enjoyed a good game of cards and spending time at the family cabin. Coby never missed out on a new adventure and always liked to stay busy.

Coby was known for being quiet-until you got him talking about his passions. His family was everything to him. He was selfless and would do anything to help others.

Coby is survived by his parents, Richie and Laurie Wright; his siblings, Lynsey (Brandon) Palmer, and one niece on the way. Brady Wright, and Kensey Wright; his grandparents, Tim and Shauna Morrison; the love of his life, Lisa Allen; and Lisa's parents, Todd and Bonnie Allen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply.

He was preceded in death by Keith Morrison, Grandma Martha Wright, and Grandpa Ray Wright.

Funeral services will be held at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 85 East 300 South, Provo UT. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12 noon. A viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with services to follow.

Interment will be in Salem city cemetery 965 South 140 East Salem, UT
