Jones Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pine View Mortuary - Saint George on Mar. 30, 2026.
Jones Clint Davis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith, and service.

Clint was born on December 9, 1947, in Payson, Utah, to Monte Roy and Haldora Davis. He was raised in Utah County, spending his childhood in Salem and Spanish Fork, where he graduated from Spanish Fork High School.

Following graduation, Clint moved to San Jose, California, where he began a career in the grocery industry. During this time, he discovered a passion for martial arts, earning his black belt in Chinese Kenpo Karate and eventually becoming an instructor. It was during this chapter of his life that he met the love of his life and soulmate, Cuca Davis. The two were married on March 3, 1973, and shared 53 years of unconditional love and devotion. Together, they welcomed two sons, Johnse and Cody.

In 1984, Clint and his family returned to his hometown of Salem, Utah, where they raised their boys. Clint began a new career in the HVAC industry, where he worked diligently until retirement.

Clint had a deep passion for teaching martial arts, not only to his sons but also to members of his community. He competed across the country, earning the titles of National Champion and multiple Grand Champion. His dedication, discipline, and love for the sport left a lasting impact on many.

After retiring, Clint moved to Hurricane, Utah, where he continued to be an active and cherished member of his community. He had a gift for making others feel welcome, seen, and valued. Known for his infectious personality, Clint brought laughter and joy wherever he went and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His love for God, his faith, and his involvement in church and Bible study was central to his life.

Clint was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cuca Davis; his sons, Johnse (Kacie) Davis and Cody Davis; his grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, and Eliot Davis, and Macie and Brielle Erickson.

Clint will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, humor, strength, and unwavering love for his family and faith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at South Mountain Community Church, 3158 East 2000 South, St. George, Utah 84790. A graveside service will follow at Hurricane City Cemetery.
