Coco Higgins of Greenfield, Indiana, the beautiful boxer mix girl of the Higgins family, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, July 16, 2025.
Coco was born Sunday, January 8, 2017, in Greenfield, Indiana. Coco joined the Higgins family after she was adopted that following March.
Coco immediately fit in right away as a member of the Higgins family. Collin described Coco's personality as loving to everyone, caring, and very protective.
Collin shared that what he loved the most about Coco was "how big of a personality she had."
According to Collin, his favorite memory of Coco was the day she met their son.
Coco absolutely hated bath time, but she was a good girl, she would face the inevitable and not put up a fight.
Collin relayed that Coco's favorite "treat" was cheese.
Coco adored her family and loved going on car rides with them. Collin shared how Coco used to love to play with her squeaky pigs and one particular rope. She also really enjoyed playing fetch with family, but she would never bring the ball back to them.
Collin felt what Coco valued the most in her life was "her family."
Although Coco, who went by the nicknames of both "Coco Bean" and "Co," loved her family so much, she was Collin's girl. She was more attached to him and was his shadow.
Coco was such a beloved part of the Higgins family. So many happy memories were made in the seven years they spent with their girl.
Coco will never be forgotten and will always remain in her family's hearts.
In addition to Collin, mourning the loss are human family members Jaydin Higgins, Braxten Higgins, Stephanie Bear, Chris Smith, Clarissa Tompkins, Pete Gambrel, and Jay Townsend.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Coco Higgins.
