Coco Howard-Elliott, the beloved guinea pig of Spencer Elliott Jr. and Rosalie Howard, of Indianapolis, Indiana, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, September 26, 2025. Coco was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and joined the family on Christmas Day Saturday, December 25, of 2021 as a gift for Spencer Jr.

Coco adapted perfectly to his new family.Rosalie shared how they loved how friendly he was even with other smaller pets like little dogs, how "he'd always greet them with his nose."

Rosalie described this sweet little boy as "playful and always excited." Continuing that, "He was very active and made noises often of excitement. He was also shy, and the only two he'd let hold him without trying to run were myself and Spencer Jr."

Rosalie shared that Coco was at times afraid of new surroundings, so they never took him out on rides or outside other than the last day with him. She shared, "I sat out in the sun with him, and he seemed to have loved it."

One of Coco's favorite things was his igloo house in his cage. "He loved it, and he stayed inside there often."

Rosalie shared her favorite memory of Coco: "Letting him out of the cage to get exercise, and he bit my toe. We both jumped, and he took off running. I couldn't catch him for over an hour."

Coco always had a huge appetite and would eat a lot of fruit, veggies, and hay and his regular food and then go lie down. I'd buy him fruit stick snacks for treats, and he'd always eat them.

Rosalie relayed how she was "going to miss his little noises the most, especially when going into our kitchen; he'd always make noises for a snack as well."

The people Coco loved the most in this world were Rosalie and Spencer Jr. Rosalie jokingly relayed, "He was attached to me and Spencer Jr. He was a sweet boy and loved being pet on his head.

He'd always eat the tips of my shoes, biting little chunks off as he'd be running through the house, or biting the tip of my toes and running."

Coco, who was also lovingly nicknamed "Cocomelon," was loved so very much. He will be deeply missed by Rosalie and Spencer Jr., who will cherish the memories of his happy, furry life. In addition to Rosalie and Spencer Jr., Coco will be sadly missed by his human siblings, Jakobi Elliott, Jazlynn Elliott, and Jaelynn Elliott, who all loved him immensely.
