Codey "Giiwitaayaanimad" (circling winds) Lee Diver, 38, of Cloquet, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 15th, 2025.

Born on January 7th, 1987, to Doreen Diver and Louis Quaderer. Codey grew up in the Cloquet area with his sister, Ashley and attended Fond du Lac Ojibwe School and Cloquet High School.

He cared deeply for everyone, especially his two boys Cameron and Cylas Spears, his "homies" he called sister's Marella, Kailey and Jamie. Also, his best cousin Crystal Rae.

Codey is preceded in death by father, Louis; paternal grandparents, Betty (Benjamin) Quaderer and Amos Riley; maternal grandparents; Harold Diver Sr. and Linda Shabaiash; "Auntie-Mom" Darla Badmoccasin; uncles, Darwin and Harold Diver Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Doreen Diver (Kevin); sister, Ashley Diver (Matt); brother, Thomas Quaderer of Cloquet, MN; nieces, Alliana Benjamin, Brooklyn Quaderer, Liasia Diver, Shaylee Diver, Zimorah Diver, and nephew Jeramie Allen Jr.; one great-niece, numerous stepsiblings and other extended family and friends.
