Timothy "Tim" James Diver, 65, of Concord, NC, passed away after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis on October 22nd, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Born on September 14th, 1960, to Richard and Yvonne (LaPlant) Diver in Minneapolis, he was one of six children, the only son with five sisters. When he was 13, the family moved to Cloquet where they were raised. He graduated from Cloquet High School where he played football.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he was stationed in the Persian Gulf on the USS Horne. He was a proud shellback and was honorably discharged in 1982. Upon returning from the military, Tim moved back to home Cloquet and started his family, having 5 children.

Tim worked as an overnight trucker for many years. He worked for the Fond du Lac Band driving and installing propane tanks. He was an incredible worker, always willing to go the extra mile. In his spare time, Tim loved to fish and hunt, especially for bass. He was an avid sports fan, who loved to play softball, golfing, and bowling to name a few.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard "Pops"; grandson, Noah James Martineau; both maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Tim is survived by his longtime wife, Lenora Stephens; children, Brittany Diver, Richard Martineau, David (Jasmyn) Diver, Leann Diver, and Amanda Psyk; mother, Yvonne LaPlant; siblings, Theresa Diver, Tamera Diver, Shannon (Eric) Berglund, Chandra Mullen and Richelle Mullen; 20 grandchildren; and numerous other family and loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, at 5 PM at the Fond du Lac Community Center/RBC Gym until 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 29th with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will occur at Old Holy Family Cemetery with military honors with luncheon to follow back at the gym.
