Cody Wayne Burkett Lindsey, born in Borger, Texas on October 26, 1965, entered eternal rest on September 30, 2025, at the age of 59.
Cody will be remembered for his generous spirit, orneriness, and the love he showed to family and friends. He was a devoted employee and Project Engineer to Salof, LTD. He lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and resilience, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him.
Beyond his devotion to family, Cody found joy in snow skiing, boating, and watching just about any sporting event. Whether on the slopes, out on the water, or cheering on a favorite team, he lived life with energy and enthusiasm that inspired those around him.
He is survived by his wife Marcy Lindsey, son Connor Lindsey, his mother Lynda Lindsey, sister Sheree Lindsey, his in-laws Dale and Connie Gallaspy and Jerry, Jamie, Jaidyn and Jayla Hayes. Cody was preceded in death by his father Tommy Lindsey.
A service to celebrate Cody’s life will be held on October 4, 2025, at 11a.m. at Schertz Funeral Home. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his life.
Though Cody’s presence will be deeply missed, his memory will remain a blessing in the hearts of all who loved him.
