Cody Dewayne Hayden, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 35.
Born on October 26, 1990, in Anderson, Cody was the son of Sheri Hayden and Marlin Ray. He was raised in Anderson and graduated from Highland High School, Class of 2009.
Cody will be remembered for the things that brought him joy and the connections he made along the way. He had a love for gaming and streaming, often spending time playing Fortnite, Rocket League, and Call of Duty. Whether online or in person, he valued those moments of laughter, competition, and connection. He also enjoyed riding horses, something that brought him a sense of peace and freedom.
He is survived by his parents, Sheri Hayden and Marlin Ray; his brother, Kyle Hayden; his girlfriend, Cassir Russell; and several brothers, sisters, and cousins who will continue to carry his memory with them.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beryl and Joan Hayden; his uncles, Bobby and Kenny Hayden; and his aunt, Rhonda Hayden.
Cody’s life will be honored with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Those who knew him will remember him in their own way, holding on to the moments and memories they shared.
