Cody Marioneaux Obituary
Cody was a United States Army veteran. He loved his job and coworkers with Jefferson County Correctional Facility as a part of the Gist Unit. Cody was an avid video game player and he cherished his son, Axel.
Survivors include his parents, Lydia and Damon Marioneaux, Sr; son, Axel Wylde Marioneaux; and brothers, David Benoit, Damon Kent Marioneaux, Jr.; and Jody Lee Marioneaux.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivan Benoit and Helen Louise Marioneaux.
A gathering of Cody's family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Broussard's, 505 North 12 Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Children's Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, P.O. Box 300630, Houston, Texas 77230-0630.
