Cody Paul Miller Obituary
Cody Paul Miller, 39, resident of Pontotoc, departed this life on Tuesday evening July 23, 2024.
Funeral Services remembering the life of Cody will be at 2 PM Monday, July 29 in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with Personal Reflections given by William Moore and Words of Comfort by Bro. William Carpenter. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM Monday, July 29 and burial will follow in Wells Chapel Cemetery in Union County.
Cody was born April 13, 1985, in New Albany, MS, the son of Sam and Yolanda Cook Moore of Pontotoc. He received his education from Blue Mountain High School and will be remembered as a proud "girl dad" and for his love of the simplicity of outdoors that included fishing and riding horses.
In addition to his parents, memories will continue to be shared by the joys of his life, his two daughters, Alexis Miller of Blue Springs and Brooklyn Miller of Pontotoc, two sisters, Tijuina Miller of Pontotoc and Marlania Smith (Robert David) of Etta, one brother, Thomas Dean Miller (Brandi) of Pontotoc, his grandmother, Paula Hall also of Pontotoc, his aunt, Shawna Stach (John) of Pontotoc his uncle Buck Moore (Christina) of New Albany, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, his special friends, Becky Keith, Jessica Miller and Deanna Doss. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Sheffres, his grandfathers, Larry Cook, Billy Joe Moore, Roger "PaPa" Hall and a very special aunt Miona Cook Jeter.
