Cody J. Strouse, age 36, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, February, 8th, 2025. A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Clinton, Missouri with family receiving friends from 1:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.
Cody was born April 6, 1988 to Jennifer and Randy Strouse in Clinton, MO. Raised and graduated in Clinton in 2006. He moved around and ended up setting in Kansas City where he eventually met Angela in 2013 moving back to Clinton. We married in April 2019 and welcomed our first daughter Isla-Rose February 1, 2020.
Cody was a devoted husband, father and friend to everyone who knew him even if they had just met. His love for dancing was known to all and his laughter contagious to everyone around him. He loved entertaining his friends, making sure everyone was laughing and having a good time. Spending time at lake, flying his plane, dreaming of his next business adventure, hunting with his friends and daughter, fishing, and having countless pool parties with his family.
Survivors include his wife Angela, daughter Isla-Rose, expecting daughter Aurora, Father Randy, Mother Jennifer (Russ), Sister Cassie (Jeff) Norman, Brother Casey (Andrea) Strouse, Grandmother Judy, Father & Mother in law David and Doreen Plank, Brother in Laws Corey and Shawn Plank, Sister in laws Nicole (Michael) Beck, Alicia Plank and Christina (Isaac) Geisinger, Nieces Ava, Isabella, Sage, Vivianne, Nephews Quentin, Karson, Kendrick, Brennan, Blayne, Michael, Kannon, Knightly and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Preceded in death by his daughter Blair, nephew Aiden, grandparents Harold and Belva Strouse, grandfather Jim Vickers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
