Age 42 • Brookfield, WI
With hearts broken and spirits heavy, we share that Cody Lee Trinko passed away on August 10, 2025.
Cody was happiest surrounded by her "babies"-Jake, Luci, Dylan, and Izzi-and her beloved pups of course. Whether she was watching the news with her diet mountain dew, taking in some rays at the lake house, babying her growing orchard and fur babies, or cooking up some incredible dish for her next party, Cody found joy in loving the people around her and lending a helping hand wherever one was needed. Her love was deep, her loyalty unshakable, and her generosity endless.
She lived her life with unmatched energy, fierce love, and a gift for making friends wherever she went. As the proud and loyal owner of Bougey's Bar and Grill, she poured her heart into her work-serving up not just great food and drinks, but a place where laughter, friendship, and community could thrive.
Cody is survived by her husband, Gareth; children, Jake, Luci, Dylan, and Izzi; parents Kim and Gary, grandma Alice, aunts Sharon, Jill, and Kelly, siblings, Gary Jr., Tina, Dax, Danielle, Ali, Max, Ben, Sam, and Tyler (Gator); countless friends who were like family, and her beloved pups Boston, Georgia, and Gus. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Sandy and grandma Issy, grandpa Jerry, grandpa Ed and grandma Maxine, Bucca, Bruno, Britta, Blu, and Bougey who went before her, and we know they welcomed her home.
Visitation at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 West North Avenue, Brookfield, WI on Sunday, August 17, 2025 1PM-3PM. Funeral Service at 3PM. Please click here to watch Cody's Service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Brookfield Humane Society-an organization close to Cody's heart.
Though she is no longer with us, Cody's laughter, kindness, and unwavering devotion will echo in the lives she touched forever.
