Samuel Pliska, 68, passed away unexpectedly on August 7th, 2025. Sam grew up in Bay View before moving to a home designed and built by him and his brother Arthur in Pewaukee almost thirty years ago. He is survived by his son Luke Pliska, brother Peter (Dawn), sister-in-law Dianne, niece Jessica Ciesielski (Andy) and nephew Erik. He was proceeded in his death by his late wife Susan Malicki, his brother Arthur, sister Ruthie and parents Peter and Dorothy.

Sam also leaves behind many close friends (Johnny Ostrowski, Diane Stillwell, Tommy Pinter and the late 'Bax') including those from his life-long career at General Electric and neighbors who will miss him dearly. He was a good man who will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of his family and taking care of his mother later in her life.

He was a diehard Wisconsin sports fan, television expert, Pewaukee restaurant connoisseur (Taco J'Amigo, Mr. Wok), Southern Comfort old fashioned (sweet) enjoyer, avid golfer, dog lover (Scamp, Snuggles, Billie, Scout, Charlie, Cora, Mr. Button, Mugsie, Foxy, Louie, Chi Chi, Flash and Rosie) and big fan of comedy (Chappelle, Kinison, Carlin, Rickles, Pryor to name a few). In his younger years he could often be found playing softball followed by closing down south side bars and a breakfast at Webb's.

Services will be held at a later date.

"Don't remember me with sadness,.

Don't remember me with tears,.

Remember all the laughter,.

We've shared throughout the years."
