Coey D. Prichard, age 90, of London, Kentucky passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025.

He leaves behind two sons, Terrell Prichard, Joel Prichard & wife Michele, all of London, KY; one sister, Joyce Hoskins of Russellville, OH; six grandchildren, Courtney Allen, Makenzie Williams, Whitley Hiles, Mikaela Lopez, Makara Ridings, Peyton Prichard; five great grandchildren, Khloe Prichard, Willow Hiles, Simon Allen, Mayven Lopez, Billee Ridings; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jane McDonald Prichard; and by his parents, Rev. James D. Prichard & Edna Matlock Prichard.

Coey Prichard devoted his life to service-service to his community, his country, and the people he met along the way. He began his banking career at American Fidelity in Barbourville, Kentucky, before moving to Somerset, where he worked from 1968 to 1975 and served as President of The Bank of Somerset. In 1975, he moved to London, Kentucky, to lead First National Bank of London as President, a position he held until 2000. Throughout his career, Coey earned respect for his integrity, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to those he served.

Coey proudly served his country as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, an experience that instilled in him a deep sense of duty, discipline, and honor. His service-minded spirit carried over into community involvement as well. He was an active member of the Industrial Development Authority and the Kiwanis Club, and he served as President of the Independent Community Bankers Association, where he worked to strengthen and support community banks across the region. He also served on the Marymount Hospital Board of Directors.

A man of many interests, Coey was an avid UK sports fan who loved cheering on his Wildcats. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking-pastimes that reflected his appreciation for nature, craftsmanship, and quiet moments spent doing what he loved.

Coey will be remembered for his kindness, steady leadership, and lifelong dedication to service. His influence will continue to be felt in the community he cared for so deeply and in the many lives he touched throughout his years.
