Cole Andrew Lepkowski, 26, a bright light in this world, was tragically and senselessly taken from us on June 29, 2025. Always welcoming you with a smile, Cole was a kind and gentle person who made everyone feel special and seen. His confidence inspired others to live their most authentic lives. Never afraid of taking a risk, Cole traveled widely and experienced the world through a positive lens, finding beauty in all things.
From a young age, Cole's creativity shined in many ways. Through various mediums, Cole expressed his love for the arts. As an artist, Cole expressed himself through painting, pottery, and tufting rugs. Cole loved listening to music, often attending concerts and discovering new artists along the way. Never afraid of the spotlight, Cole would show off his amazing dance moves anywhere and at any time. Having a keen eye for fashion, Cole was the official family stylist, making sure everyone felt good and looked even better for all occasions.
His most recent creative endeavor was curating his beautiful home that he shared with his fiance, Andrew, ensuring that their style and vibe were present in every little detail. They, along with their beloved dog, Coconut, brought so much joy into their cherished neighborhood where they were just beginning to write their life story together.
While Cole and Andrew took pride in making their house a beautiful home that represented their love for each other, they also found that their love extended beyond the walls of their home through their vast travels. Cole and Andrew solidified their promise of forever in Wyoming with Cole proposing in front of the Grand Tetons in a spectacular way that truly represented the love he had for Andrew. Andrew returned that spectacular love for Cole on June 29th and we are forever grateful for that.
Cole was a longtime employee of both the Perrysburg and Maumee Kroger stores where he had many co-workers that he called friends. Cole's reputation as a dedicated employee and friendly face was known by all who walked through the doors.
Left to cherish Cole's memory are his parents, Mark & Amy Lepkowski; sisters Maizy (Blaze), Ellie, & Claire Lepkowski; fiance Andrew Price; grandmothers Karen Traver and Ellen Lepkowski; aunts and uncles Matt & Julie Traver and Pete & Kacie Traver; cousins Owen, Morgan, Jordan, and Anne Traver; Andrew's parents, Dan & Jennie Priest and Al Price, as well as Andrew's siblings, Sarah, Alex, & Allison Price, and many extended family members from both the Lepkowski and Traver/Thomas sides. Cole's many treasured friends are also left to share his memory. Cole is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dennis Lepkowski and Marv Traver and uncle, Andrew Traver.
To honor Cole's love of fashion we ask you to wear your best outfit, one that makes you feel as special as he was.
