Cole Robert Proctor, 38, of Westfield passed away November 18, 2023. He was born July 18, 1985, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Okey and Brenda (Mosley) Proctor.
Cole was a loving and caring son to Brenda, and it was sweet to experience the bond they had with each other. Over the last 18 months Brenda and Cole had the privilege of creating many special memories together as he pursued a life of health and wholeness. What an incalculable gift the last year and a half has been for the two of them!
Cole had a magnetic personality and never met a stranger. He loved his tight-knit family of aunts, uncles, and cousins above all along with his many, many friends. He was kind of a nerd at heart – he loved fantasy genre, video games, comic books, and enjoyed very eclectic music. He had a wide range of interests: sci-fi, metal, anything counterculture. As his cousins say, he was unapologetically weird, and we all loved him for it! He was a devoted & loving son, nephew, cousin, and friend to all and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Brenda Proctor, and extended family. He was preceded in passing by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Esther Crnkovich, and his father, Okey Proctor.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at Brookside Church – Indianapolis, 1035 North Olney Street.
