The Lord in his wisdom called Cole Randy Strohbusch home to heaven in a sudden and unexpected tragedy Sunday, December 21st, 2025. He was born in
Watertown, WI on November 20th, 1990 to Doug and Kathi Strohbusch. He attended St. Mark's Lutheran Grade School and went on to graduate from Lakeside Lutheran High School. His love for carpentry led him to a fulfilling career as a foreman for Maas Brothers Construction and was also how he reconnected with the love of his life, Megan, while building the new Johnson Creek High School where she is a teacher. Cole and Megan (Hubacher) were married May 19, 2018 at Watertown Country Club and gave life to three beautiful children Paisley (6), Rhyatt (4) and Westyn (1).
Cole had a love for hunting and fishing that he shared with his entire family and most especially with his wife and children. This recent season was the year his passion for hunting made the biggest impression on his kids' hearts. Being in the woods with "Daddy" are memories Paisley and Rhyatt will cherish forever just like all the memories Cole shared of so many hunting trips with his Father. Each and every one of his niece's and nephew's have at least one exciting hunting memory they share with Cole.
He was a loving and generous man who liked to joke and play tricks with his family. If you received a call from Cole with a "Would you rather" question you knew you were in for a laugh. He would flip his niece the bird at family functions just to get her "in trouble" with the elders. Road trips to Taco Bell and marathon video gaming sessions with the nephews are more memories we will share over the coming years. His Mom was the ringleader of cards and game night to which Cole never said "No" even if the request was to play a never ending game of Shanghai Rummy. If you left a family function without a Cole laugh or funny memory you didn't stay long enough.
Cole and Megan enjoyed playing softball and of course hunting together before the kids arrived. After welcoming their children, they took their shared love for sports and started coaching every sport their children showed interest in. Together as a family they have raised everything from pigs and chickens to puppies and kittens.
