Coleen Rackow Obituary
Born August 15, 1960 in Erie Pa. She passed away on February 14, 2025.
She worked as a Nurse's Aid from the age of 18 until retirement. Over the years she worked at St Mary's Home, Sarah Reid, and ultimately retired from the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home. For Coleen, taking care of others was more than a job, it was a calling and way of life. She spent her retirement helping to care for many family members and friends as they aged or experienced illness. She was an animated storyteller with an infectious laugh. She enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Bengals.
Coleen was preceded in death by her parents Peter L & Lois I Quirk (Young) and her brothers Patrick, Perry, and Timothy Quirk. Coleen is survived by son Joshua of Columbus OH and daughter Anne & Liam Oliver (Rackow) of Carlingford, Ireland. Sisters and their partners, Deborah & Gerald Kunkel (Quirk), Theresa Quirk and George Graham, Magdalen & Lou Fitch (Quirk), Lisa & Chris Firment (Quirk) Kathryn and Bruce Kubacki (Quirk). As well as multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions toward funeral costs can be made to the family through the funeral home.

I will always remember the time we had together. Those mornings coffee and donuts on 24 st. And watching each other kids grow up together. All the fires we had in my backyard. And all the time we spent just talking. You were a great friend and I will always miss you like I did the last past 2 years. And you were always be in my thoughts.
