Coleen Sorice Obituary
Coleen Sorice of Middletown, N.Y. a former medical coder and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on August 20, 2025 in N.Y. Presbyterian Hospital. She was 65.
The daughter of Neal Calkin and Patricia Kanjorski, she was born on July 9, 1960 in Bethel, N.Y.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years Nicholas Sorice at home. Her daughters Jordyn (Adrian) Szlejter of Montgomery, N.Y. and Alexandra (Tom) Aitken of Zachary, LA. Her parents Neal Calkin and Patricia Kanjorski. Her grandchildren Nicholas, Cohen, Camille, Dillon, Damian, Jakub and Gabriella. Her brothers Tom Calkin and Brian Calkin and her sisters Christine Calkin and Stephanie Parnett. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Lori Calkin Depew.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025 from 3-7 P.M. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Ave. Middletown, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 29, 2025 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
