Colene Catron Obituary
Colene Anna Catron, age 90, of Spiceland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025.
Colene was born at home on March 5, 1935 to Joe and Della Asberry in Monticello, Kentucky. Colene was married to Oral Ray Catron who preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother to Trebby Catron and Martha Catron, and a proud grandmother of twenty-two.
Colene was a care giver most of her life but for a short period operated a small restaurant in Spiceland and the Wagon Wheel which was located on State Road 3. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and her unwavering belief in seeing the best in everyone. Colene lived her life guided by faith, grace, and love for her family. She was a proud member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Spiceland for 50 years. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 pm at Rose City Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, Indiana "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." – Proverbs 31:25 Online condolences may be shared at www.rosecityfunerals.com
