Colleen Annette Brunner, 90, of Kasson, MN passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson, MN.
Colleen was born on May 31, 1935, on their family farm in Baldwin, WI to Arnold and Hazel (Simmelink) Lokker. She attended grade school at Sunnyside and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1953. She worked as a para for the Rochester, MN school district for many years and she also worked part time at Fleet Farm.
Colleen enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross, quilting and sewing. She loved being able to spend time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Colleen is survived by her children, Vicki (Steven) Dean of Kasson, MN, Kent (Kimberly) Brunner of Hudson, WI, and Todd Brunner (Mary Stifter) of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Knotts, Christopher Dean, Zachary Dean, Joshua (Maddy) Brunner, Jason Brunner, and Kyle Brunner; great-grandchildren, Tristan Bloomquist-Dean, Maxwell Knotts, Savannah Knotts, Henry Brunner, and Benjamin Brunner; sister-in-law, Geri (Roger) Sipple of Baldwin, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Beatrice (Val) Muchberger, Patricia (Kenneth) Ecker, Paul Lokker and Janet Stone; and her granddaughter, Alexandra Brunner.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Christ United Methodist Church, 400 5th Ave SW in Rochester, MN with visitation held one hour prior to her service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross or Thrive Child Care, 400 5th Ave SW in Rochester, MN 55902.
