Greeley, Colorado - Colleen Michelle Christopherson, 51, passed away peacefully on Monday June, 6, 2022 after a 3 year battle with cancer. Colleen was the oldest of three children born in Denver, Colorado on May 4, 1971 to Roy and Mary Wells.
She graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora, Colorado and continued her education at Metro State University, where she received her degree in accounting. While she enjoyed her career, her passion in life was for her children, church, and friends. She loved time with her children by coach their sports teams, participating in school activities, and planning family vacations. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the children's Primary, Young Womens organization, and the women's Relief Society.
Colleen is survived by her husband Charles R. Christopherson Jr. and four children Caleigh, Chase, Alexa, and Chelsey,, and grandchild Brooklyn. By her parents Roy Wells and Mary Myers; brother, Adam Wells; sisters, Krista DiLeo, Christy Steele, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Mary Leyendecker and Claude and Maria Wells.
memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 500 W McDonwell School Road, Colleyville, TX 76034.
