Mrs. Colleen Ann Daniel, 51, of Stratford, beautiful wife of Stephen Daniel, passed into peace surrounded by love on April 18, 2025.
Colleen was born on October 10, 1973, to Edmund Joseph Doran and Faith Ann McBride. She was known by all for her radiant energy that could brighten any room, and she had a gift for making every person feel seen and deeply cared for. She poured love into all that she did, effortlessly finding a way to bring beauty into everyday life. Colleen was a creative soul with an appreciation for making things by hand she stayed busy working on DIY crafts, home projects, and thoughtful gifts. Her hands were rarely still, and her heart was in the details. She lovingly tended her beautiful garden and chickens, finding peace in the open air. Often adventuring to hike new trails and soak in the beauty of a scenic motorcycle ride with Stephen by her side. She especially cherished time with family, pouring her heart into motherhood providing boundless devotion, guidance, and support. That love further flourished once she became "Mimi" offering an unconditional love her grandchildren will carry with them always. As a sister, she was a steady, loving presence- deeply connected to her siblings throughout her life. She shared a beautiful life with Stephen, the strength beside her light, through every joy and challenge. Their home was a haven of kindness and celebration open to guests, especially during the holidays, when every visitor was well fed and surrounded with love. Wherever she went, she brought warmth and sweetness often literally, with her famous chocolate chip cookies that were a staple at every family gathering.
Professionally, Colleen was a proud and accomplished mechanical engineer, dedicating over 25 years of service to Sikorsky Aircraft. Her intelligence, precision, and passion earned her the admiration of her colleagues and the respect of all who worked alongside her. Colleens nurturing soul, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those around her will be forever cherished and remembered always.
She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Daniel; her children- Kevin Workman and his wife, Kaitlin; Briana Leon and her husband, Ariel; and Jason Warner; and her stepchildren- Stephen Daniel Jr; Kristal Daniel; and Jessica Daniel and her husband Eli; her brothers, Jerry Doran and Larry Doran and his wife, Katie; her sisters, Maribeth Yakush and her husband, Fred; Katie Chiesa and her husband, John; and Lisa Bonazzo.
