In Loving Memory of Colleen Ann Van De Pitte Slicker

June 5, 1931 – October 8, 2025

Colleen Ann Van De Pitte Slicker, born on June 5, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Garland, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family.

Colleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her life was a shining example of unconditional love, unwavering faith, and quiet strength. She touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and grace.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rowland Roy Slicker; her parents, Carl and Lucille Van De Pitte; and her brothers, Ronald and Robert Van De Pitte.

Colleen's legacy lives on through her children: Theresa (Slicker) Tuck, Russell Slicker (wife Sharon), and Mark Slicker (wife Lauri); her grandchildren: Jennifer Tuck Abbott (husband Brandon), Stephanie Slicker Ruiz (husband Adam), Kristin Tuck Rollins, Ryan Slicker (wife Angie), Michael Tuck (wife Elyse), Erin Tuck, Nicole Slicker, and Hannah Slicker; and her great-grandchildren: Madison, Aidan, Anthony, Kennedy, Isaac, Carson, Jacob, Wyatt, and Lorelai.
