He was born February 27, 1958, in Orrville, the son of the late Donald and Roseline (Rohr) Slicker.
William owned and operated his own trucking business. He retired after 4.5 million miles of driving long distance truck accident free.
William is survived by step-son, Richard Davlin (Shanetta Ferryman); brothers, Michael (Janice) Slicker and Larry Slicker; sister, Mary (Jim) Ogi; sisters-in-law, Alice Slicker and Linda Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and Fred Slicker.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 1 to 4 P.M. at the Sons and Daughters of Herman, 1994 Deermont Ave. N.W., Massillon, Ohio 44647.
