Colleen Elizabeth McCook Teti, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on April 10, 1939, in the heart of Philadelphia, Colleen's life was a testament to the power of selflessness and the enduring strength of familial bonds.

The daughter of the late John G., Sr. and Ellen Elizabeth (Elliott) McCook, Colleen grew up in a home filled with warmth and kindness. She was a proud graduate of Upper Darby High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed a love for learning that she carried with her through the years.

Colleen's heart found its match in the late Charles R. Teti, Sr., and together they built a life rich with shared moments and cherished memories. Their love blossomed into a family with the birth of their children, Elizabeth E. Teti and her husband Chris Lauber of Newtown Square, and Charles Robert "Rob" Teti, Jr. of Drexel Hill. Colleen's role as a mother was one she treasured deeply, pouring her love and wisdom into her children's lives.

The joy of Colleen's life multiplied with the arrival of her grandchild, Harrison Teti, who brought a renewed sense of wonder and delight into her days. She was a sister to John McCook, Jr. and his wife, Virginia, and to Virginia (McCook) Riddell. Her extended family included many nieces and nephews, all of whom benefited from her generosity and humor.

Professionally, Colleen dedicated many years of service as a secretary at the University of Sciences, where her colleagues became a second family. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement in various associations, where she offered her time and talents with grace and enthusiasm.

Those who knew Colleen best would describe her as loving, funny, and selfless. Her laughter was infectious, and her ability to find joy in the simple things served as a constant reminder to appreciate the present moment. Colleen's selfless nature was evident in every act of kindness she extended to friends and strangers alike.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 from 5 to 7:00pm and again on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 from 10 to 11:00am at Logan-Videon Funeral home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. A funeral service for Colleen will be in the funeral home on Thursday at 11am.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Colleen Elizabeth McCook Teti will be held in loving memory by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her light will shine on in the stories we tell and the lives she touched. Rest in peace, dear Colleen, until we meet again.

My dear dear Colleen! You will be sorely missed by everyone at Blue Santa Beads and well remembered as a generous, creative friend... Thanks for being a member of many of my workshops there; we had a lot of fun making some of the coolest earrings imaginable!
