Joe was always a loving kind giving individual. I had the honor and pleasure of dating him in high school as he was my escort for my senior prom and even though we went our separate ways, we always remained friends.
My condolences to his daughters and his entire family. I have had him in my prayers for sometime now. I´m sorry to hear of his passing. Joey, may you rest in peace my friend.

Joe is one of the people who gave so much to Camden Catholic. He always reminded us all in his action of the power and value of offering your time, talent and treasure in service to others. The community of Camden Catholic is a better place because of those gifts that offered to CCHS. The 1887 Education Foundation salutes the memory of Joe and sends prayers to his family and legion of loved ones who all mourn the loss of this kind and wonderful man. May he rest in the eternal and perfect peace of Jesus.

In its early days, there would not have been a CCHS Alumni Association without Joe. There was not a job he wouldn´t do or an event he wouldn´t attend to further the organization. He was truly a kind man with an enormous heart. During the time we worked together on that early Alumni board I never doubted his concern or loyalty. Just a special human being. Prayers and hugs.

Joe was a very special alumnus of Camden Catholic. He was so helpful to me in my early years as principal of his Alma Mater. He was a gentle, kind man who was a loyal and dedicated leader of the alumni association. Camden Catholic has lost a dear member of its family. May he rest in peace.

Regrettably, I did not take the time to get to know Joe well. But since my freshman year in 1959 at CCHS and through various alumni communications over the decades, I knew Joe to be a kind person, a giver, not a taker, someone who lived an exemplary life and set an example of what it is to be a good Catholic.
