Obituary of Phillip H. McEady
Phillip H. McEady, age 83 of Camden, passed away at his home on October 14, 2025. He was born in Camden on October 6, 1942 to the late Melvin and Roxy (nee Sharp) McEady.
Beloved husband of 39 years to DeLois (nee Jones); Devoted father of Linda McEady-Smith (Rodney), Phyllis McEady, Tanya Jones, Shena Kendall (Brian) and Rashad McEady (Madeline); Loving grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 6; Dear brother of Joan Goodwater, Thomas McEady and the late Melvina Wilson, Elizabeth Smith, Janet Robinson, Grace McEady, Melvin McEady, Calvin McEady and Robert McEady; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. McEady was employed at EdPac Heating and Air Conditioning for many years and then moved on to working with the CCMUA in their maintenance division. He enjoyed antique cars. Phillip also had a passion for photography, photographing many weddings over the years with his brother. He was also very involved in his community, planting trees and helping with repairs where needed. As a handyman, Phillip could fix just about anything and used those skills to benefit his community.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Gathering at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road on Friday, October 24 from 10 to 11 AM, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.
