Collette DeLoatch was called home on Sunday, November 23, 2025, while resting in her home in Portsmouth, VA.

Collette, or Bink, which everyone called her, was born on September 15, 1959, to the late James E. DeLoatch and Thelma Mae DeLoatch. She was raised in Portsmouth, VA. And was an I. C. Norcom graduate, her roots are embedded in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

Bink was a veteran of the United States Army. She also loved her fashion, especially her Dooney and Bourke pocketbooks. At the center of everything, she was a homemaker and caretaker. HGTV, QVC, and Martha Stewart were some of her favorite shows to watch. For family, her doors were always open, and she would do her best to take care of you and feed you until you couldn't eat anymore. Bink LOVED her family.

Bink is predeceased by her brothers, James DeLoatch, George DeLoatch and sister, Doris-Jean Dunbar.

She is survived by her children, Shelton-Ray DeLoatch, Scherrelle DeLoatch, Jermelle DeLoatch; stepchildren, Lauretta Williams, Rashawn Ruffin, LaShonda Ruffin; sisters, Annie-Marie Knight, Mary Hudson, and Elma Willis; brothers, Willie DeLoatch, Miller DeLoatch, and Warren DeLoatch; grandchildren, step grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
