Colson Lee Kniceley, a beautiful soul whose journey began on February 23, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio, left this world far too soon on March 5, 2026. Though his time with us was brief, Colson's presence touched the lives of those who loved him deeply.

Colson was preceded in death by great grandparents, Bobby Brook, Paul and Patricia Heatherly, Lloyd M. Kniceley Sr. & Etta C. Kniceley; Grandparent, Jeffrey Lee Kniceley Sr.; Great uncle Lloyd M. Kniceley Jr.; and Uncle Gary Lee Brooks Jr.

Colson is survived by his loving parents, Jeff Kniceley and Kellsie Brooks; brother, Landon; his grandparents, Joan and Jay Riddell; aunts, Shawna (Barry) Ayers and Katie (Eli) Petrey; uncles, Jason (Katie) Small, Kyle Brooks, Wesley (Emily) Brooks and Nick (Rosemary) Brooks; as well as many cousins.


Colson's life will be honored during visitation and funeral services, which will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., in Beavercreek, Ohio. The visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Medway Cemetery, in Medway.

Though he may have only spent a short time on this earth, Colson Lee Kniceley will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. His parents will carry on his spirit, nurturing the love and memories they shared for the rest of their lives.
