Colson Rhodes Smith was born September 20, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed that same day.
Colson was able to gain so much love and adoration in such a short life on this earth. He will forever be loved and never forgotten. The impact that dear Colson has had on our families is priceless. Colson’s perfection outweighed his life with us.
Colson is survived by his mom, Constence Rasmussen; dad, Gavin Smith; grandparents, Tera and Tom Nye, Jason and Melanie Rasmussen, and Mike and Melissa Smith, along with so many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A day of remembrance for Colson will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank all the staff at the University of Utah Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital who helped bring our baby boy into this world with such love and tender care. They would also like to thank Probst and Heber Valley Funeral for their love and respect for our baby boy.
