THOMAS - Columbus Robert Thomas, age 91 of Dacula, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Adam Southerland and Rev. James Eison officiating. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceville with Pastor Sammy Everett officiating at the graveside. Robert was a United States Army Veteran and a member of New Rock Springs Baptist Church in Dacula. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golf and shooting pool at Unicoi Springs in Helen, Georgia. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Bonnie Wynell (Warbington) Thomas in 2024; his daughter, Darlene Garmon, and his parents, Harvey and Clara (Davis) Thomas. He is survived by his children, Wanda T. Jackson and Donnie (Jackie) Thomas, ex-son-in-law, Doug Jackson; grandchildren, Dee Dee Jackson, A.J. (Nikki) Jackson, Laura (Brandon) Cote; Andrew (Amber) Thomas; Heather (James) McDaniel; and Heath Garmon; great grandchildren, MacKenzie Jackson; Carson Jackson; Caden Jackson; Peyton Vincent; Max Vincent; Benji Cote; Finley Cote; Mason Thomas; Emily Thomas; Allie Jo Thomas; and Paisley Garmon.
