Colyne Johnson

Colyne Clare Johnson, age 96, went home to her heavenly father on January 28, 2026. Colyne was born October 28, 1929 in Calera, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of 4 children, all of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Calera High School in Oklahoma in 1949.

Colyne married Stanley Johnson on June 2, 1952 and had two daughters. She worked as a teacher and in the school counseling office, and was active in her church as a Sunday School and Girls Auxiliary leader. Colyne and Stanley owned a rental property business until they both fully retired. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, coloring, and spending time with her family.

Colyne is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Johnson.

Colyne is survived by daughters, Janyce Pace and Patsy Hodges, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

She will always be remembered for her loving kindness, generous hospitality, and resilience.
