Nancy Anne Foote (Long) was born on November 2, 1939 to Theodore and Virgie Long in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on February 9, 2026 at her home at Legacy Oaks of Midlothian Texas where she lived with her beloved cats Buffy and Coco. Nancy was married to Donald M. "Skeets" Foote in 1958 and raised two children, Jan Ellen Foote Blank and Duane Matthew "Butch" Foote. Nancy took great pride in her work for The American College of Surgeons in downtown Chicago, and also managed several Ben Franklin stores in the south Chicago suburbs. Nancy and Skeets moved to Texas in 2000 and were members of New Hope Community Church in Venus, Texas. She was a proud "Meme" to five grandchildren Douglas Foote, Valerie (Nick) Foote Prymek, Gregory (Katelynn) Foote, Samuel (Molly) Blank and Sarah Blank. Nancy was also blessed with eight great grandchildren: Beckett and Bre Ellen Blank, Damien and Ryker Foote, Ellie and Alex Olivia Foote, and Peyton and Quinn Prymek.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Foote, son Duane (Janet) Foote, daughter Jan (Ken) Blank, and brothers Rudy (Kathleen) Hall and Victor (Carol) Stateler.

Nancy is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Janet Foote, son-in-law Ken Blank and his wife Terri Blank. She is also fondly remembered by extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her. She will be missed very much, but is now reunited with her husband and children in Heaven.

Nancy's family would like to thank the staff of Legacy Oaks of Midlothian for the years of wonderful care Nancy received while a resident there. Her care givers were truly angels!

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 15, 2026 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at the Midlothian Funeral Home at 200 E Avenue E Midlothian, TX. A service will immediately follow at 3:30pm. Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband following the services at Midlothian Cemetery.
