Cona Sue Duncan Sears (Sue) age 87, passed away on January 13, 2024, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born to Theodore Monroe Houck and Nola Mae Earp on November 6, 1936, in Jay, Oklahoma. In Cona's younger years she attended Jay High school in Jay, Oklahoma. As Sue grew older, she worked as a receptionist at Wood & Whistler where she was a devoted employee.
Sue's hobbies included cooking, sewing, gardening, and decorating. She also loved spending quality time with her family at meals and holidays. She was also known to occasionally help Richard herd cows on the Lazy S Ranch. Sue was very active in the Ramona Friends Church and the First Baptist Church. She had been a member of the Christian Women's Club and the "Do Nothing Club". She was a lively and loving spirit and will be missed most by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Nola; and her late husband, J.R. Duncan.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Sears; her daughters, Kathy K.D. Vitas, Diana Quinlan (Mark), and Cindy Pruitt (Ron); Grandchildren Shannon Tucciarello (Pete), Cal Quinlan, Aaron Pruitt, Brian Pruitt, and Mike Pruitt (Stephanie); Great Grandchildren, Ellie Tucciarello, Enzo Tucciarello, Joel Pruitt, Nora Pruitt, Kate Pruitt, and Sam Pruitt; and one brother, Tyrone Houck.
