Connie Azbill

1961-2025

Connie Azbill, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Davidson County, North Carolina, at the age of 63. Born on November 24, 1961, in Guilford County, North Carolina, Connie touched the lives of many throughout her journey.

Connie devoted her life to caring for others, working as a caregiver for elderly individuals. Her compassion and gentle nature brought comfort and companionship to those she served. Beyond her professional life, Connie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished time spent with her family, always reveling in visits with her grandchildren and moments shared at home. Her love for the beach was well-known among her loved ones, and she often found peace and happiness by the sea.

Connie is preceded in death by her dear companion, Allan Wells, and her son, Craig Sigmon. She is survived by two sons, Gary Sigmon and his wife Nicky Sigmon, and Guy Manning; her daughter, Ashley Manning. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Caila Sigmon, Devin Sigmon, Mason Sigmon, Payton Manning, Eli Manning, and Philomina Manning. Connie's memory will also be cherished by her siblings, Johnny King, Kathy Oakley, Chris Smith, Eddie Perdue, and Sandie Peeden.

The family will honor Connie's wishes by celebrating her life in a private gathering. While she may no longer be with us, Connie's legacy of love and kindness continues to live on through the hearts of those she touched.

May she rest in eternal peace.
