Connie M. "McCarthy" Babula

In Wareham, February 23, 2026 Connie M. (McCarthy) Babula wife of the late James Babula died at Tobey Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Taunton, Connie was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Donnelly) McCarthy. She was educated in Taunton Schools and was a retired LPN at Morton Hospital in Taunton. Connie had many hobbies, but mostly enjoyed her family. She was the mother of Jeane McCarthy of Wareham and Joyce Murteira and her husband Paul of Wareham. Grandmother of Alex and Anthony Murteira. Sister of the late Henry, Joseph and Jack McCarthy. Aunt of Sherry Chaves and family. Cousin of Jack Ferrie and family of South Carolina. A private graveside service will be held at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
