OBITUARY
Connie Lee Turner Bailey, 67, of Walnut Grove, Georgia, passed away on May 17, 2025 at Emory University Hospital surrounded by her children & beloved family.
Connie was born June 22, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Albert & Delree (Duffel) Turner.
Connie was a very dedicated, reliable & hardworking employee primarily in manufacturing and retail prior to her retirement. It was here where she met her great & longtime friend Diane Owens.
Connie loved to gamble be it at a casino with her sister or scratch-off lottery tickets. She loved big, but would whip your ass just as quick & easy as she'd whip-up her specialty: Red Velvet Cake.
Remaining to cherish Connie's memory are her husband, Herbert Bill Bailey Jr., daughters, Katheryn Pratt of Conyers and Brenda Lee Reece of Milner, son, Herbert Bill Bailey III AKA Bubba (Mandy Barrett) of Snellville, favorite granddaughter Jaylin Daniel of Jacksonville, FL, sister, Brenda (Eddie) Robinson of Griffin and brother Glenn Turner of Stockbridge, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins & her Aunt Maggie.
Preceding Connie in death are her parents, Albert & Delree Turner and brother, Coleman Turner.
Huge thank you from Kat to everyone that helped with everything the last several months of Connie's life. It is appreciated more than you'll ever know.
Per Connie's wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held May 31, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Grace Baptist Church, 4020 Hwy. 81 E, McDonough, GA 30252 with Pastor Tim Davenport officiating.
