Connie L. Bjork

Connie Lee Bjork age 78 of Zimmerman, formerly of Fridley, MN, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025.
Connie was born on January 26, 1947 to William and Joyce Sommers in Fridley, MN. She attended Fridley High School and shortly after she married Jackie V. Bjork Sr. in 1965.
They lived in Minneapolis for many years, welcoming their sons, Edwin, William, Troy, Jason and Jackie Jr. After moving several times within the state of Minnesota, they finally settled down permanently in Zimmerman, MN in 1980 and have lived there ever since.
Connie was a loving, kind and selfless soul, caring for her children, family and friends. She loved to knit caps, donating them the cancer patients at Cambridge Medical Center and to the local food shelves.
She also liked to bargain hunt at Thrift stores, hunt for agates and looked forward to her weekly casino jaunts.
Connie is survived by her sons Edwin (Brenda) and Jason; grandchildren Kyle (Izzy), Troy, Raymond and William; great-grandchildren Kadence, Jack and Olivia.
She is also survived by her brother Rodney Sommers and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Bjork Sr,; sons William, Troy and Jackie Jr. as well as her sister Carol Shore.
Connie will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Memorial service 11 AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home. Friends may gather 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Nowthen, MN.
