Connie Faye Bowman, age 60 of Centerville, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at St Thomas Midtown.
Born on November 21, 1965, in Centerville, TN, Connie was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Patton and Frankie Ann Tibbs Carroll, who survives. Another important figure in her life and upbringing, was her step-father, Dennis Carroll, who also preceded her in death.
For most of her life, Connie served others as a CNA. Her passion for caring for others was evident in her everyday life as well. Most recently she served as Manager of the local Burger King, where she instilled a work ethic and leadership to her team.
Connie’s larger-than-life personality lit up a room. You would hear her before you saw her and felt her energy before she arrived. She loved to laugh, sing and dance as she faced the daily challenges of life. Her passion will be missed by those who loved her.
In addition to her father and step-father, Connie was preceded in death by her husband: Danny Bowman; and sister: Annette Patton. She is survived by her mother: Frankie Carroll of Lawrenceburg; daughter: Amanda (Lloyd) Ollis of Centerville; sons: Johnathon, David and Eddie French; sisters: Teresa Hughes of Lawrenceburg, Carolyn Garrett of Linden and Theresa Whitehead of Hohenwald; brother: Calvin (Tina) Carroll of Crossville; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
