David Lloyd Comer, age 78, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his residence.
Born on May 19, 1947, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, David was the son of the late Loyd Comer and the late Ikie Bryant Comer. He practiced law at The Law Office of David Comer, serving the Lawrenceburg community with commitment and integrity for over thirty years. David was also a long-time member of the Lions Club.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending quiet moments in his gazebo, reading, and smoking a cigar with his beloved dog, Bear, faithfully by his side.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Deboarh Chessor, son, David (Samantha) Howell, and grandchildren, Donnie Ray Howell, Samuel David Howell, Jacob Comer, and Matthew Comer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Comer, and sister, Betsy Bishop.
At his request, there will be no public service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
