Connie Kay Stayner Davis passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. Returning home to her Heavenly Father and reuniting with her parents. She was born June 20, 1950, to Robert and Shirley Stayner in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is one of six children. Connie grew up in the Sugar House area, where she attended school and graduated from South High.
She later met Stephen Davis, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 15, 1972. They have four children, Peggy, John (Natalie), James, and Russell (Julie). And have 21 grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren and was very proud of them. Prior to passing she stated that the first thing she would do is to visit each one of them.
Connie loved music and could often be heard singing or listening to music. For approximately 15 years she worked for Salt Lake City School District as a bus attendant on a special needs bus. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Connie and Steve served as service missionaries for 5 years, assisting in the IMC branch in Murray, Utah. They desired to serve longer, but due to health challenges they were unable to continue.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the caregivers at Welcome Home and her hospice team who helped care for Connie throughout the final days of her life.
Till we meet again, we love you wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2025, at Anderson & Sons Mortuary - 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held before the services from 9:45am-10:45am. Interment will be at the Pony Express Memorial Cemetery - 4648 N Eagle Mountain Blvd, Eagle Mountain, Utah, following the services.
