It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Ray Cox, who departed from this world peacefully on December 7, 2025, at the age of 80, following a natural course of life. Paul was born on January 25, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent his later years living in American Fork, where he touched the lives of many in his community.

Paul earned an Associate's Degree and dedicated much of his professional life to serving as a Case Manager within the Utah State Government. His commitment to helping others reflected his compassionate nature, often placing the needs of those he served above his own. Paul was admired by colleagues and friends alike for his empathy and ability to listen, providing guidance and support with a gentle hand.

Paul loved his red Corvette he was President of the Corvette club of Utah. He enjoyed playing farkle with his family where he remains the Champion. He took great pride in wining against his children and grandchildren. He was an avid 4 wheeler and spent a lot of time enjoying his time on the trails.

He is survived by his beloved spouse, Jalee Cox, whose unwavering love and support enriched Paul's life profoundly. Together, they created a warm home filled with laughter and shared joys, treasured by all who knew them.

As we gather to honor Paul, we will remember a man of integrity and kindness whose legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. His spirit will live on in the memories of love he created, and his compassion will be a guiding light for us all. Paul Ray Cox will be dearly missed, but his heart and influence will remain etched in the lives of those he loved so deeply.

Paul is survived by his wife Jalee Cox, his kids Dayne (Tiffany) Cox, Penny (Bruce) Wilson, Art (Millisa) Cox, Susan (Joey) Bean, Misty (Jared) Purser, 12 Grandkids and 9 great grandkids. Paul was preceded in death by: Ray and Bernice Cox, 2 granddaughters, siblings Toni Whitaker and Larry Shepherd.

A Graveside Service will be held at the American Fork Cemetery on December 15, 2025, at 11:00 am, where family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Paul's life.

Everyone is welcome to join us at the lunch-in after service. Lunch will be held at 240 South Center Street.
