Connie S. (Parmley) Ferrence, age 74, a resident of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on December 14, 2025 surrounded by family at home. She was born on May 17, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Elmer and Mary (Sheaks) Parmley. On August 15, 1970 in South Bend, Indiana she was united in marriage to her late husband Dennis Ferrence.

Mrs. Ferrence was a former marine. She enjoyed reading, crosswords/ sudoku puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and watching shows snuggled up with her dog. She loved a friendly competition of scrabble with family.

She will be missed by her loving family including her children; Kimberly Ferrence, Michael Ferrence, and Keith Ferrence and his wife Catherine. She was also a beloved grandmother to her grandchildren; Jasmine Yepez, Sierra Ferrence, Joshua Yepez, and Sydney Ferrence. She will be missed by her siblings; Ralph Parmley and Mary (Parmley) Root. She was reunited with her late siblings; Deena (Parmley) Smith, Judy Parmley, and Kay (Parmley) Selcz. Her extended family from her marriage to Dennis, including Barbara Ferrence, Sue Ferrence, Duane Ferrence and Daniel Ferrence. Her five nieces and one nephew, Carrie Selcz, Tiffany Selcz, Tony Selcz, Crystal Root, Shannon Root and Melissa Root, are also sending their love and prayers from Indiana.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
