Connie Carole Garst, born on June 15, 1949, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 27 2024, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was 75 years old. Connie leaves behind a legacy defined by her kind loving nature, family-oriented spirit, and a dedication to both her professional and personal life.

She dedicated over 13 years of her career as a material control analyst for Mercury Marine, where she became a respected member of her team. In addition to her career, she devoted the last 15 years as a volunteer at Elite Repeat in Stillwater, showcasing her commitment to serving her community. Connie and Gail were married on November 24, 1967, in Colorado Springs and were blessed with 56 wonderful years full of love and memories.

A proud graduate of Falcon High School, class of 1967, Connie cherished her family above all else. She made treasured memories with her loved ones, including delightful days spent hunting for treasures at garage sales with her grandchildren. Her famous cookies and hot rolls will forever be remembered as highlights at family gatherings, serving as a testament to her nurturing spirit and love for bringing people together.

In her leisure time, Connie found joy in hobbies such as quilting, ceramics, stained glass creations, and festive holiday decorating, each reflecting her creativity and enthusiasm for life. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Gail Garst of the home; her son, Ronald Garst and his wife Toma of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sister, Dot Bateman and her husband Tom of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her brother, Rob Rotz and his wife Toni of Nashville, Tennessee; and her adoring grandchildren: Kalee St. Romain (Luke), Brent West, Leslee West, Austin West, Luke West, David Garst, and Emily Garst. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Paislee, Braden, Daxton, Jacob, Cooper, and Zane St. Romain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved daughter, Christine West, and her brother, Dick Rotz.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor on October 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sunnybrook Christian Church, located at 421 East Richmond Road, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74075 with pastor Jim Johnson and Paul Weece officiating. 

Connie Carole Garst will be remembered for her unwavering love, warm heart, and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and compassion.

The family request that memorial donations be made in Connie's honor to the Gideons International at P.O. Box 1535, Stillwater, OK., 74076.
