Connie (Kuhn) Mangine, age 74 of Perry, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Left Hand, WV, the daughter of Hobert and Maggie (Murphy) Kuhn. She married her college sweetheart, John Mangine, on December 24, 1970. Together they lived in Texas, Colorado, Virginia, and California, while he was in the United States Air Force. While in California, she finished her degree in Accounting and Computer Science in 1977.
After moving back to Ohio to be near her beloved mother and extended family, Connie started working for Lake County National Bank, Electronic Data Systems, Bank One, and JP Morgan Chase Banks. She worked hard throughout her career to becoma a vice- president at JP Morgan Chase, most notably leading technology conversion of acquired banks to Chase's systems. She retired in 2010.
Connie's hardwork, generosity, and love for her immediate and extended family defined who she was, especially her grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved to laugh and play cards and was the original binge watcher. She enjoyed planting annual flowers every year on Mother's Day, shopping, family photographs, eating ice cream at the lake, playing with her cats Reba and Alan, spending time with her grandsons most of all.
She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Heather (Chris Robinson); grandsons, Adler and Linus Wegener and many friends and extended family members, who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Mangine; parents, Hobart and Maggie; and siblings, Herbert "Ted" Kuhn (Audrey), Alton Kuhn (Garnet), Billy Kuhn (Nancy), Gladia Swiger (Bernard), and Peggy Slater (Harvey).
A Celebration of Connie's Life will be 1-4 pm on May 24, 2025 at Perry Community Center, 2800 Perry Park Road, Perry, OH. The family will have a small private burial. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time. The family would be thankful for any donation made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, as an expression of sympathy.

I worked with Connie at the bank. She was my supervisor during the time I lost my mother, she was so understanding of my heart break and allow me the time I needed to get her affairs in order. I also still have the 'Better Than Sex' cake recipe she gave me via email!!!! Rest In Peace sweet lady!!!!
