Connie Pemble Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by LeMieur Funeral Home - Little Falls Chapel on Aug. 27, 2025.
Connie Jean Pemble peacefully passed away and went to her eternal home at the age of 79 on August 25th, 2025, at her home in Randall, MN, surrounded by friends and family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Tenstrike Community Church in Tenstrike, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck, MN. Caring for Connie and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Connie was born in Blackduck, Minnesota on December 23, 1945, to John and Elizabeth Beck. She grew up on the family farm alongside six siblings, remaining close to them throughout her life. Her relationships with her siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family were central to her happiness. She married Richard Charles Pemble in 1960 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, while he was on leave from serving in the US Navy. They had three children and she spent most of her life living in Tenstrike, MN. Connie loved family reunions, swimming in the river, dancing, and shared many fond memories of her childhood and her father's musical abilities. She often lit up talking about his talents and recounting him being "jack of all trades". Family was always at the heart of Connie's life, and she made it a priority to keep relatives connected, especially after the early passing of her sister Mary Eldard. In later years, she lit up with visits from grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. She shared her life with horses, dogs, and cats throughout and loved their cuddles and kisses. Connie worked at Walmart as well as in assembly at Medtronic and Nortech in Bemidji, MN. She met many close friends through her career. Her dedication to her work continued through the age of 78, until her retirement in May 2024. She attended several churches with family throughout life and her faith in God. Her primary church family was that of Tenstrike Community Church. Connie is survived by her son, Craig Pemble and his wife, Patty; grandson, Shawn Pemble; daughter, Carmen Goldsmith; grandchildren, Cory Goldsmith, Morgan Krier (and husband, Andrew), Ciera Dierkhising (and husband, Shawn); sisters-in-law, Mary Beck (John Beck) and Geri Beck (Allen Beck); and great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Easton, Adrienne, Wesley, Sawyer, Martin, Elias, Woodrow, Greta, Eleanor, and Morwenna. She leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, young extended family members, friends, and her cat Snickers, who all adored her. Connie was preceded in death by her infant son, Price Pemble; husband, Richard (Pete) Pemble; father, John Beck; mother, Grace Elizabeth Beck (Black); siblings, Fran Johnson, Doris Nelson, Mary Eldard, John Beck, Allen Beck, and Wayne Beck; and niece/nephews, Shirley Johnson, Duane Johnson, Allen Beck Jr., Bryan Beck, Wayne Beck Jr. and Tim Halvarson.
